We're baaack!!!!!
To those of you veterans, welcome back! To those of you new to all of this, welcome aboard!
We are in the process of planning the entire season. We are aiming to have 1 pack meeting a month and at least one pack event a month. We kick off October this Friday night at 6:30pm at the First Baptist Church in Westwood. This is where we will introduce the Den Leaders for this year and go over some of the great events we have planned for this year both at the Pack and Den level.
For those of you, who want to return this year but have not registered yet, please reply to this email to give us a heads up. Then go to our web site and print out the registration form and bring that with a check for $60 (made out to Westwood Cub Scouts) to the meeting on Friday night
If a scout needs a uniform, you can get all you need at Brenner’s which is located right across the Bank of America in Norwood on Washington Street near Day Street. They will assist you in everything you need. No need to get a handbook because we will be handing that out at the meeting. Also, for first year Webelos, you will NOT need to get a tan shirt. Your son can still wear the blue shirt that he has been wearing. It is the 2nd year Webelos that you need to get the new shirt.
We also have our first Pack Event, a Blue Hill Pack Hike, which will be Sunday October 28th at 1PM.
Also, we have a new, and hopefully improved, web site. This site will have all the latest news about our pack.
